Delete your account

You can delete your Papalingo account at any time. Two ways: from inside the app, or by emailing us.

From the app

Sign in, open Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. The button is being rolled out — if you do not see it yet, use the email method below.

By email

Send a message from the email address tied to your account to [email protected].

Subject: "Account deletion". No further details needed — we match by sender address. You will receive a confirmation within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your personal data is removed within 30 days of the request:

• Account row (email, name, user id).
• Practice history, concept retention scores, streaks, stats.
• Active sessions and any pending one-time codes.
• Subscription records on our side. Paddle / Google Play retain their own records as required by law.

Timeline

Sign-in is disabled immediately. Personal data is purged within 30 days. After that the deletion is irreversible.

What we retain

Anonymous, aggregated learning metrics (e.g. "how many users completed lesson X") may be kept. These cannot be linked back to you. Financial records required by tax law are retained for the legally required period.
